This screw thing came with my case. Do i use it to mount the motherboard? If not what is it.

Looks like singular standoff for motherboard, not the M.2 one.

this is probably a motherboard standoff, if you see your casing you'll see 9 already installed (assuming ATX casing)

but the middle one doesnt have a screw hole, it probably has a nubben on it, some people prefer to use that to hold the motherboard in place while the other screws are put in, some prefer to have it as a screw for securing the motherboard better
