don't see why it shouldn't work,

keep in mind that helping with problems is hard if you aren't specific and detailed.

i'm also not a professional, (yet) so make sure to personally verify important information as i could be wrong.

Moved to Air Cooling.

 

The Wraith Prism (3700X stock cooler) is compatible with the AM4 socket, meaning you can use it on any of the Ryzen CPUs.

Yep.

The 3400G would even be cooled better with a 3700x cooler (as opposed to the 3400G stock cooler), as the 3700x cooler is larger.
