Upgrading Earbuds from JVC HA-FX300

Cs342

I currently own a pair of JVC Xtreme Xplosives and am looking to upgrade them. What should I get for around $100? I enjoy bass but do not want to sacrifice mids or highs. So far I'm looking at the Klipsch Image S4a.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Anything but Klipsch.
Take a look into the Shure SE-215.

Tried them, could not even get a proper fit :( Anything else?

Really enjoying my Philips S1s, they sound really nice.

Some comfort issues for some people, so watch out.

And not the best option if you'll be using them out and about since they're "semi-open". I use them on my bike to school and they sound considerably worse then.

I need closed isolating IEMs, sorry :P Are the Klipsch S4s worth it if I have JVC Xtreme Xplosives? Apparently they sound almost exactly the same.
