Low end PSU for a low end system : is it any good ?

electropical

Hi,

A few years ago (2016), I bought a cheap (brand-new) pre-built for basic tasks (office, web browsing...) ;
It came with a delta 80+ bronze PSU (200W?);
Is it any good? Should I replace it ?

Yeah more like a 200W PSU.

What components is it powering, exactly? If it's just a very basic office PC, with like an APU or something, it should suffice.

Desktop: Intel Core i9-9900K | ASUS Strix Z390-F | G.Skill Trident Z Neo 2x16GB 3200MHz CL14 | EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER XC Ultra | Corsair RM650x | Fractal Design Define R6

Laptop: 2018 Apple MacBook Pro 13"  --  i5-8259U | 8GB LPDDR3 | 512GB NVMe

Peripherals: Leopold FC660C w/ Topre Silent 45g | Logitech MX Master 3 & Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed | HIFIMAN HE400se & iFi ZEN DAC | Audio-Technica AT2020USB+

Display: Gigabyte G34WQC

Thanks for the input !
First I wrote 300W, than I read "216W MAX", so I changed it to 200W 😅

The system is : i5 6400 + AMD R7 340 + 4 gigs of RAM + HDD + DVD-RW

That 340 is a pretty weird inclusion imo, considering the iGPU on the 6400 is likely not too far off its performance.

Either way, that PSU should work. It's far from great, obviously, but it should be okay for the time being. Whenever you decide to upgrade your system (definitely consider at least throwing in an SSD for the OS btw), I'd probably look at also upgrading the power supply though.

Thanks again !
I'm not considering upgrading this system, where I live reselling the components isn't worth it ; I'll probably just keep it and use it as a backup plan ;
