Using both GPU's in HP 8200 Microtower

Hello. I have a HP 8200 MT computer and am looking forward to use both my iGPU (Intel HD 2000) and GPU (Nvidia) whenever I want to switch at either. Is that possible?

Kind regards.

Yes it's available, but only if the motherboard bios let's you turn iGPU on with dGPU plugged in. I've seen board that don't support this feature (or just bugged)

But I would only recommend you use the iGPU as a pass through, not for rendering.

Not too sure how useful is that iGPU for quicksync tasks though

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

Guys my question is not whether it's pointless or not, it's just as I firstly mentioned. Due to some problems with my monitor (& a little converter for dGPU), I am unable to use most Linux distrobutions with my dGPU, and therefore have to remove it time to time to use my iGPU, which is more than enough (I've had cases with much, much worse video chips, that worked perfectly fine) for my daily usage.

Again kind regards.
