Upcoming "You Are Not Prepared" build

Budget (including currency): US. $2500 without monitor.

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: World of Warcraft. Witcher 3, Cyberpunk, Diablo 3 and 4. Twitch streaming.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Plan to buy and build in Feb or March 2021.

Goal of the pc is to run an ultra wide monitor 3440 x 1440. I have in mind of a build based on Illidan Stormrage and Legion so the RGB will be black, green and purple with tempered glass and etching. I have been looking at this build here https://newegg.io/4ccd5e5 . Issue that I am having is i am over budget and this mainly comes from the price of the graphics card. Any advice? would a 2080 super meet my needs. Mainly as I said I want ultra wide at max graphics in WoW. Any advice on where to cut some cost maybe with memory? Also advice on a good ultrawide monitor looking for 34 inch or 38 inch curve at a mid level price point. Looking at https://www.amazon.com/Gaming-VG35VQ-Monitor-FreeSync-DisplayPort/dp/B07YP6PFFT/ref=sr_1_13?dchild=1&keywords=34+inch+3440+x+1440+gsync+curved+ultrawide+monitor&qid=1595573068&sr=8-13 .So many on the market that i am lost lol. This will be my first build.

Thanks all for the help.

if you are looking to build next year, would strongly suggest waiting for zen 3 and nvidia ampere.

remember to quote or mention when you reply.

in that case would strongly suggest waiting for nvidia ampere, no use getting the 2080ti if its going to be outperformed in a couple of months.

I will do some research on this and see where the price will fall. But i would imagine it will be out of my price range being brand new launch and being better performing than the 2080 ti

the price shouldnt far off than when the 2080ti was released, unless nvidia releases a 3090ti or something like that

If you are looking at streaming I'd avoid a 21:9 monitor as getting resolutioons and aspects ratios set up are a pain, and the final product looks much worse when compared to a 16:9.

i am aware that OP has owned the i9, this list was to give a general idea on how OP can be within budget without sacrificing performance, i am not recommending to get this right now.
