Hello,

I currently have a Ryzen 3700+ CPU And an EVGA KO Ultra GPU and when I am gaming, the case gets pretty hot, but everything works fine. The temperature gets between 60-70c when gaming and 40-45c when idle. I have the Wraith Prism cooler and two case fans, the side panel as intake and the back as outtake. I have an Antec A400 fan that lowers the temp when gaming by 10c, but I can’t fit the side panel fan and I have to install it outside the case..

When I’m gaming I game for about 3 hours at a time, will the case getting too hot will damage the GPU And CPU? Sorry for the long post.

Any help appreciated.

No for the most part.

Temps are fine as a whole. Where did you get temps reading for your case anyways?

the program HW Monitor.

That doesn't report case temps. You can't record case temps with software.

Don't use hwmonitor. Use hwinfo64. As hwmonitor is inaccurate most of the times.

But temps are fine.

I have HWINFO on my computer, will run it when I get home and post the updated temperatures.

 Thanks.

Considering the horrid airflow, your temperature readings are good. Enjoy your hardware

I’m assuming you used your hand to get a temperature for the case? If so, just know that if it’s hot to people doesn’t matter at all. Hardware can get way past what will burn your skin and still be in a safe temp range.

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.

Hello,

After a couple of hours gaming, using HWINFO, the cpu die temperature minumum temperature is 43.2C and the maximum is 75.9C. I don't expect much from my computer case since is generic basically, just making sure everything doe not melt down. The other thing I have to obviously upgrade is the monitor, even when V-synch on there is tearing.

Thanks all for the replies.
