Can I use two keyboards at the same time but individually

Woxolifo

I have 2 corsair keyboards that are the same kind. When I have both plugged in they do the same thing as expected. in Icue any settings I change on KB1 the same happens to KB2. even if KB2 is on profile mode 2 and KB1 is on profile mode 1.

I know there was a LTT video where that tall guy used a second keyboard as a maco for editing I think I saw it years ago. Can I do something like that to make my second keyboard a ghetto steam deck for twitch streaming? How would I do that, (ill go back and watch that video again too)

Unfortunately Corsair iCUE does not support setting up keyboards as two individual boards.

If your main keyboard wasn't a Corsair board, you would be able to use the secondary Corsair keyboard as a separate input.

Simply put, you need to get a HASU converter (paid peripheral), use Interception (free software) or get a board that supports being a secondary input (either get a main keyboard that isn't Corsair, get a QMK ready keyboard or get a Razer keyboard that supports Synapse).

This github page from Taran explains these different options in more detail and the spreadsheet in there will also show the different capabilities and info on all methods (i.e. price, ease of use, etc.)

I have an old AZIO keyboard laying around that has sticky keys. would that work as a second keyboard? I mean I can just test it and I will when I have the time to find it.

If you use your AZIO keyboard as your main keyboard (with 'normal keys' so to say), you can use one of your Corsair keyboards to do whatever functions you want (basically set up your Corsair board as a full macro board).

See this video for more info on that:

ahhh I get it now. so its due to the corsair software only working on said keyboard. only if AZIO had its own software that only recognized AZIO keyboards then I could use that as the second one if it had keystroke software. All that coding and other stuff seems out of my knowledge base base. I will look out for that thank you.
