If you aren't doing any gaming, video editing, or 3d design, defiantly get something without a dedicated GPU. You will save a lot of money that way.

Grab a a 4th - 6th gen i5 refurbished Dell Latitude or HP Elitebook. You can find them for $250 to $400, usually with 8GB or more of ram, an SSD, and Windows 10 Pro. They are killer deals, especially if that is all you are needing the laptop for.
