Windows 2004 update not appearing?

I haven't seen any option to update to windows 2004 yet. Should I download the update from microsoft or wait until It shows up in windows update? I thought it was released in may

I think they pulled the update because of issues

They release it in waves, and can prevent offering it if they believe your system may have something incompatible with it, or might otherwise cause problems. Of all my systems, not all have had it offered yet. I'd consider this normal and nothing to worry about. Unless you absolutely must have some feature in it right now, just wait.

Still waiting for it

but I don't want to manually download it if it's actually not ready for my pc...
