How do I enable G-sync at high refresh rates on Linux Mint ?

I installed Mint last night and installed Nvidia drivers. However the driver menu looks completely different to the windows counterpart.

In the Linux display settings I can go up to 165Hz (Vsync)
In the Nvidia settings I can select 165Hz and Turn on Gsync (I think.... I really don't understand the menu)

When I go on to blur busters and run the UFO Test, it simply sticks at 60Hz and says Vsync is not available on Linux.

Questions:
1. How do I turn off Linux Vsync
2. How do I enable Gsync Properly
3. How do I verify its actually worked?

Looks like you got as far as what I've deleted, here... sorry.

I frequently edit any posts you may quote; please check for anything I 'may' have added.

Did you test boot it, before you built in into the case?

WHY NOT...?!

I have the control panel downloaded and working, but Im not sure if its actually applying correctly as the UFO test is not supported on Linux it seems. Additionally, linux seems to force some sort of Vsync on over 60Hz

To be honest, I've only seen G-Sync switching in LTT (& other) YT videos, not first hand; is there not an 'Apply' button?
