Probably, 'FPS unlocker' is by definition sketchy, I'm reluctant to click on it

No it's safe. It might get flagged as a injector by a Anti-Virus as that's technically what it is.

Going through the source on github, I don't see anything malicious.

That is open source software, and therefore is unlikely to have malicious software in it, because anyone can read the code.

 

If you're really paranoid, try uploading the files to virustotal.com

No, that would be insane. Plenty of GitHub repositories contain hidden backdoors, cryptominers, and malware -- they are just harder to conceal since the source is publicly viewable. Hell, there are even <removed link>

That's technically correct. It's an injector that targets the Roblox client to remove the 60 FPS cap. However in practice, you won't notice any difference but framerates past 60 in the web version of Roblox. That's why antiviruses aren't perfect; some innocent apps are flagged by it for doing things viruses might do.
