So... I bought the Deepcool Neptwin RGB

narniaftwxd

Hey, guys! I am a first time builder and I have some questions regarded the Deepcool Neptwin RGB. I can't find any good tutorials on the Internet... nothing linked to Neptwin RGB only for Neptwin V2 and the white version.

I checked the installation manual and it says that I have to connect both of the fans to 2 CPU_FAN. What? I own MSI's B450 TOMAHAWK MAX and it has only one CPU_FAN and a PUMP_FAN1.

I was thinking to connect the cooler in the front to the CPU_FAN and the other one in the middle of the heatsink to a SYS_FAN or PUMP_FAN1. Is it a bad or good idea? Should I get a splitter?

You can use a splitter or just use the pump header as it's just a pwm header and nothing is different about it.

You can also just use one system fan headers. Go with the splitter imo.

Anything really

It should cost like 3 bucks from Amazon.

@TofuHaroto,

the problem is that I am from Romania and sadly, Amazon takes a while to deliver it.

I have found this: Noctua NA-SYC1

I hope that it will do its job :)

Aaand.. I found a small scratch on the CPU cooler. I have attached a picture. I touched the surface and it feels just a bit... I hope that this won't be a big problem in performance. I'm gonna use it with a Ryzen 5 3600 just for gaming, recording and video editing. No OC intented.
