Do you need drivers for AMD raid on non-windows?

orangecat

So a while back I had my Windows installation installed on an nvme raid setup. I know I had to install some drivers during the installation process to get the disk to show up for install and stuff like that but I'm curious if anyone knows if I need those drivers for stuff like Linux and Macos? I currently have 2 500GB nvme drives in my PC and I'm using 1 for windows and the other has ubuntu installed and a copy of macos I use for hackintosh stuff. I would like to put then in RAID 0 again but I'm not sure if linux and macos will need extra setup to run off the array. Does anyone have any experience running AMD nvme raid on linux or macos?
