Is it safe to overclock my refresh rate

I have an HKC MB21S1 60hz.

My pc specs : 

Ryzen 5 2600 with stock cooler

B 450 ds3h

16gb ram

1650

 

Sorry its my first time building a pc and i dont know if it is safe for my build

If it really can overclock, it might wear your monitor really fast. Just save and buy a monitor that defaults support a high refresh rate.

My current monitor has been overclocked for 6 years, what wear are you talking about?

So are mine, one is 10 year old shitty acer other is 6 year old cheapo dell. Both have been overclocked around %20 for 6 years. Never had a issue.

Just try doing 1hz at a time until the it goes out of range, then back it down.

My old ViewSonic VA2012WB is somewhere around 14ish years old and I had it since new, it is still used daily and is pushing 75Hz(77Hz is the highest), that is much but I'll take it.
