Studying Motherboard

Hello Guys 😊...

I really need an advise, i want to start my study about motherboard specifically the components in charge of taking the voltage provided by the psu and converting it into the appropriate voltage required by the CPU, memories, chipset and other circuits.

Should i start from knowing all the electrical units that is present in the motherboard. Should i learn how the converting process work ? What chipset should i study ? Should i start from the history of motherboard ?

I'm sorry to many questions. I'm so naive when it comes to electrical circuits i hope someone can help me.

Thanks 😊
