Hi - What is a good sensitivity/dpi for competitive fps?

My mousemat is small. My mouse is a G402 Hyperion Gaming Mouse

 

This my is my current dpi for all fps games.

If I lower my dpi, my general mousespeed goes really slow and It takes ages just to do general things

other than that, the best sensitivity is the one that works best for you.

THough, I'm going to say the average EDPI of an overwatch pro is around 5000.

I dont know how to find the right dpi for me. And I dont know how to test with dpi would be good for me. Even in-game sensitivity confuses me alot.

you need to find that out by doing some testing on your own, for example in CSGO, try finding a way to which you can turn your view 180 without actually being uncomfortably slow, or extremely fast that you cant control it.

 

 eDPI is heavily based on personal preference

What games? Different games have different optimal sensitivity ranges.

I'm super high-sense, I play at 1k dpi and 15 in-game.

Isn't that like 25-30cm/360? It's not that surprising when you consider that overwatch is fast paced with more vertical aiming.

In that case I would say a sens between 30-50cm/360 would probably be the best (800dpi 1.7-1 in game for CS, I think it's the same for apex and for valorant it's CS sens/3.181818...) Depends on if you play CS/valorant or Apex more, for Apex, you would probably want a bit higher, for the other 2 a bit lower. And of course, sens is a very personal thing, so there's nothing wrong if you like something very fast/slow. You might also be limited by the size of your mousepad, but you can get a 45x40cm mousepad for like $15-20.

Depending on the situation I switch on the fly (built into the mouse).  If Im in a gun fight with machine guns I go high (6000) DPI.  If im in a pistol fight I go mid DPI.  If Im camping and scoping with a sniper, 800dpi.
