Hello would this fitting work to attach a ball valve to the reservoir to work as a drain? I cant find if its a male to male or not

Why not just get a stop plug, this is just additional points of failure for no reason

isn't a stop plug what comes with the reservoir? I was going to do a drain because i cant really fit a bottle under my reservoir so i thought a drain would make it easier for maintenance like switching the fluid every year or something

Its a pass through, so yea you can connect the drain to is if you are putting it in a place that would make sense, cutting a hole in the case and all.

A ball valve is what makes a drain a drain. You connect soft tubing with a fitting to it with the valve closed, open it to drain, and then close the valve, and then remove the soft tubing with the fitting all together, and then replace it with a stop plug.
