Check out "EEVBlog" on youtube, he's got soldering tutorials, tips on chosing iron, tips, solder, flux etc. And has a ton of videos doing all sorts of repairs and teardowns.

Be warned that his voice is of even higher chipmunk level than linus's :)

Also get an old circuit board and practice desoldering and soldering. And pay close attention to preparing your iron and cleaning it after.

BigCliveDotCom on youtube is another great channel for soldering stuff. Plug the guy is just a funny scot which is pretty great imo.

The only tricky part is soldering ground of the pickup to the potentiometer casing. For that a bit more powerful iron (at least 30ish W) is recommended because of the bigger thermal mass. The rest should be easy. Also invest into one of those helper arms (dirt cheap) to hold your wires in place. You will thank me later.
Lastly, don’t bother with lead free solder. It is more difficult to work with and you don’t require lead free certification for DIY stuff.

I made a very long thread in this section, see 2nd post for very good video tutorials, including the ones already recommended above (eevblog)

There's also this other good thread in this very same section :
