Hey guys I am confused between 2x16 gb 3000mhz Corsair vengeance lpx DDR4 and 2x8gb gskill rip jaws v 3200mhz for gaming/workstation pc with asrock x570 steel legend, ryzen 5 3600, samsung 970 evo plus 250 gb please help.

What do you use your system for? What workloads?

To expand on @Slottr’s question more memory over faster memory may be a better plan for some apps but not games. To determine which is best the apps need to be known.

Light to moderate Gaming and solidworks and other CAD software

Well the 2*16gb 3000mhz is about 160-170 usd with xmp 2.0 (Corsair vengeance lpx DDR4) and the 2*8gb 3200mhz is 120-130 usd ( T-Force delta RGB)

I also have 2tb Seagate barracuda hdd and an extra hp m.2 120gb for cache so should I go for more clock speed or for more size?
