Illuminated Keyboard ?

I will buy new stuff and need a Illuminated Keyboard for my office. I use  in the sleepingroom a Cherry the is only shit. The Spacebar make 90% double tabs and other shit i dont need.
There are some nice features like turn the light on and off with a Key.

Is there a good one for my Office Room who not suck like the cherry?

LOGITECH K740 ?

ULTRAFORCE T5 ?

if i understand your issue is that cherys are too lound  .   you may want to look at razer's stelth line.      or go membraine..

Nope you press the spacebar one (or non) and the keyboard tipe 1x or 2x the Space bare.
That is a known problem there is/ was a patch thats dont help in my case. The Support say just "fuck you".

I think double click can be an issue on any switches, you'll just have to bite the bullet and hope for the best. My old Logitech G613 with Omrom switches develop this problem after almost two years of use, my curreng G915 with Kailh low profile brown develop it in less than a year (luckily only on just one key) and the only keyboard that never develop this issue that I know of is the bare bone Microsoft membrane keyboard but I think I was just lucky over there. 

 

The safest route is to buy from a reputable brand that have a support office in your country and just swap the defect one out or go membrane with a better mechanic like a scissor switches. IMO for a pure offrice use, a low profile scissor can be just as good as a mechanical keyboard (and this is coming from a person who type several thousands word a day every day)

Razer's one of the largest gaming peripheral manufacturers out there, quite a few of their products are very good, from what I've heard and personally used.

K740 is a membrame scissor switches though as far as I know. It should be good (but won't feel the same as a true mechanical keyboard that's for sure) 

 

And I mean looking at keyboard manufacturing - not the switches. Cherry may be a German company but most of their partner who implemented those switches on their PCB aren't. Logitech is a good choice since they have offices in many country but you should also check to be sure. I have a lot of reliability issue with Logitech product lately, chances are you will have to contact their support at some point.
