Hi I have builded a pc a couple weeks ago and used the ssd from my old pc it all works but I Hurd useing a ssd from a different build can cause problems The old pc had a i5 but my new one is a ryzen 9

It's always to install Windows when transferring a drive to a new system.

Usually transferring an SSD with Windows installed to a new system will work, but it might also cause weird issues. To just avoid these - unpredictable - weird issues, it's just best to reinstall Windows.

But you could try out your luck by just plugging in the drive and attempting to use it.

You should be fine but if you're really concerned then it won't hurt to wipe the SSD and do a clean install of your OS.

Desktop - i5-9600KF @4.8GHz all core, MSI Z390-A PRO, 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance 3000MHz, MSI GTX 1660S OC 6GB, WD Blue 500GB M.2 SSD, Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM HDD

Laptop - ASUS ZenBook 14 with ScreenPad, i7-1165G7, Xe iGPU 96EU, 16GB Octa-Channel 4200MHz, MX450 2GB, 512GB SSD with 32GB Optane

Old Laptop 1 - HP Pavilion 15, A10-9600P, R5 iGPU, 8GB, R8 M445DX, 2TB HDD

Old Laptop 2 - HP Pavilion 15 TouchSmart, i3-3217U, Intel HD 4000, 4GB, 1TB HDD

iPad 2018 - 128GB

iPhone XR - 128GB

It’s a driver issue more than anything, delete your display drivers with ddu, re install the new ones and you’re good.

Generally its an issue because of drivers. Generally you would reinstall Windows with a major hardware change like that. The other side of this is Windows might Un-activate due to the hardware change, as a motherboard change is considered a new computer in Microsofts eyes.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
