Graphics card upgrade advice

Hello, I have a R9 390x and a Ryzen 1600. I'm looking to upgrade GPU first and the CPU at a later time.

What graphics card would be a good upgrade and one that would not bottleneck too much with my current CPU?

I'm gaming at 1080p 144Hz, and open to both Nvidia and AMD GPU's.

GTX 1660 Super sounds good for your system.

Edit: If you have more budget go for 5700 or 5700XT.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

You'd be looking at least at a 1660 Super if you want to see a noticeable improvement from the 390X.

I'd really suggest waiting until next-gen GPUs (Ampere, RDNA2) and CPUs (Zen 3), as the 390X and 1600 are really still not bad imo, and you're very likely to be getting a lot more for your money when new tech comes out.

Wait for ampere and zen 3

Otherwise probably a 1660 super or a 5600xt if budget allows
