Should I upgrade 2011 Macbook pro to Catalina

Ive got a 2011 macbook pro 15" running high sierra. Is it worth upgrading it to Catalina? I know its not officially supported. Im pretty sure I will loose the dedicated GPU, but on the other hand it wasnt much of a GPU to begin with and any heavy work i need to do can be done on my desktop, I just like to think I need the processing power that is has now.

Any thoughts? Can I upgrade and keep dual graphics?

Thanks

This is a Radeon 6490M vs Intel HD Graphics 3000

No. It is always better to stay with an older operating system, because upgrading to the latest version is more likely to slow down the performance of your system.

High Sierra OS should be more than adequate. So, I don't think you should do anything else. Happy to help!
