Hello guys, I recently got myself some DDR4 3200 2x8 Corsair Vengeance RAM to put in my system:

Ryzen 5 2600, Rx 580, GA B350m D3HS, (original memory) DDR4 2666 2x4

So the first thing I tried to do was overclock the ram to its 3200 from the stock 2133. I simply went to the bios and turned on XMP profiles. I tried to boot my PC with that and I got the blue screen.

I wondered if faulty ram was the problem so I replaced it multiple times and I clocked the ram back down to 2133mhz,

This got me into windows nicely but still was at stock speeds slowing down my ryzen.

Everytime I tried to overclock it to 3200, it got me to the blue screen, to which I tried to manually input values in, only really changing the CRT from 54 to 56 and voltage from 1.35 to 1.36.

This got my ram running 3200 but it would crash my games and windows every 10 minutes or so.

So now I underclocked my RAM to 3000mhz and I ran memtest with no errors so far.

So Far I have tried to copy values from the ryzen memory software, and increase/lower my voltages but to no avail.

What could be the problem? Will I ever be able to run my memory at 3200?

Well first of all

Anything over 2933 is not guaranteed on zen + as it's technically an over clock to the imc

Update the bios

Set the soc to 1.1

Dram to 1.35 ( so same as now )

Try 2933 with docp on

After that if it boots

Use memtest86 or / and OCCT to make sure it's stable

Good luck ;)
