Hi I'm matt,

   I'm new here nice to meet you all. I'm here mostly because I'm into the techy side of pc related items. If this is the wrong place to post this im sure you all will let me know and point me in the right direction. But I'm also here to ask a ? And I'm not sure where to ask. But I have an alienware area51 from 2009 that I've been upgrading and I've got it to run most games pretty well but i think i may have to upgrade the motherboard to get more out of it. It has a intel core i7 920 with 12gb gskill ram on an Ms 7543 motherboard a msi radeon 570 grapics card a samsung 1tb ssd not really sure what to do next I've been looking at i7 990x processors and they look promising but the motherboard only supports the 12gb of ram and would like something that would let me add more but also keep most of the control boards that are specific to the alienware case there are many boards separate of the motherboard that control lighting, fans, and cpu waterpump/block if anyone has some ideas I'd love to hear them. Thanks for the warm welcome! Not sure on the parrot thing yet. Still trying to navigate through and find something remotely close to what I'm looking for. Took a quick look through the guidelines they were somewhat helpful but still trying to search through everything is a task. Thanks again and sorry for not reading through the guidelines before I posted. I'll make sure I'm in the right spot in the future.
