SSD not working on other computers

Ive bought a brand new ssd, and I installed win 10 on it on my friends pc. It works there fine, but when I try to put it in my pc or my laptop it doesn't work, says disk drive not found or check cable or media check failed. What should I do?

try a different sata cable

Why can't you install Windows on it in your system?

i think that motherboard doesnt support installing os via usb, ive tried it couple of times to boot off a bootable usb but i just doesnt work..

if all other is OK, legacy / UEFI mode, or missing boot partition on that drive, check both. Both can be done without knowing when installing OS, and both can prevent it from just booting on other PC.
Chceck the boot partition in the disk management, and try to boot with the legacy + uefi option.
