The 3600 can handle pretty much any current-gen consumer grade GPU. With that budget you're looking at either a 2070 Super or 5700XT.

ok and if i was to splash out a bit more cash for a 2080 would that still run ok or would there be a bit of bottleneck?

I know this is told repeatedly and lose its value

but WAIT WAIT

this fall the gpu war will be big and an rtx 3060 and equivalent amd gpu will be better than a rtx 2080 super

so just wait three months

i dont think a 3060 would be that powerful without having any info about its performance

Unless your target is 1080p 240FPS+ all the time, you're fine with even a 2080Ti with a 3600.

If you're talking about the 2080 non-Super, don't bother. The 2070S offers almost the same performance for cheaper.

That's just a rumour, there's nothing confirmed performance wise as of yet, or anything wise really.

a 2070 super / 5700xt are very close to it

The 2080 just has more cores

For gaming it isn't worth it

Just go with the 5700xt / 2070 super

everyone knows spending more on a gaming chair will add 300% more peformance rather than a 2080

all jokes aside as @TofuHaroto the 5700xt should fit your needs
