What SSD to buy?

Alexaldin

Hello everyone,

I want to upgrade the SSD in my PC from a Samsung SSD 850 Evo 250gb to a 1Tb SSD Sata. I'll use it for gaming. After searching Amazon Italia I found some SSD that inspire me, but I have no idea what to pick.

Here's the list:

  • Crucial MX500

  • WD Blue 3D NAND SATA

  • Samsung MZ-76Q1T0 860 QVO

They are almost the same price, only some euro differences. Who's the best and more durable? What should I get?

I already had a Crucial that after 2 year of lightly OS use went 95% on CrystalDiskInfo, so I'm not entirely sure about the MX500... but everyone still suggesting it.

Are there any other good sata SSD?

Thank you kindly

The wd blue and crutical are basically the same, get what is cheaper. Stay away from the qvo due to tlc.

Where do you see the 95% use? Normally the ssds show life remaming, so there is plenty of life left on the drive. Also most ssds will last much longer than the rated writes. Don't worry about endurance.

Ty. Any other SSD worth the price?

Honestly I don't remember, I need to check it again.

Those are all good sata ssds, there are cheap ones, but they have their issues and can either be slower at tasks or potentially less reliable. Id get the cheaper of the blue or the mx500.

So long as the SSD is SLC or MLC, and has a DRAM cache, its good.

Dont get DRAM-less or TLC or QLC SSDs.
