Currently upgrading from a Pre-Built Hp pavilion with:

- A horrible case that can only do negative airflow
-Hp motherboard
-I5-7400
-Gtx 1060 3GB
-No name brand PSU and 8 gigs of ram (4 x 2)

-I am going to buy this in around September to early December
-I want to play at 1080p 144hz and some 1440p gameplay (although i would also love to play at 1440p 144hz as well)
-my eyes really can't handle how TN panels are so I would prefer to stay with IPS at a response time of 1ms - 5ms
-build theme is going to be black and orange
-The motherboard has exactly what I need from it (no its not just the wifi) hence why i chose this over the b450 tomahawk max since that was bit too overkill for what I need (wifi router also is not in my room so not paying an extra 20 bucks for a wifi adapter is good i guess)

-I would prefer to stay with a freesync monitor since I am also planning on getting the PS5 in the future which will most likely use a rdna 2 card and also because AMD drivers have gotten extremely stable over the past few months so having a 2070s competitor for the price of a 2060s is very nice also Amds control panel is way more slick and user friendly than nivida's. If rdna 2 card prices are also around the same pricings then i would go for that although its too early to tell as of right now.

Any IPS free-sync monitors you guys recommend for this system? What about the mouse, keyboard, and headset? any other motherboard and case fan/cpu cooler recommendations?

This is good for what’s available now, but by then more b550, new amd CPUs, and possibly new GPUs will be out. I would wait until closer to build time to make a list so you can see what’s available then.

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.

That looks good, I'd switch out to mobo for a nicer MSI one. I don't belive the AORUS has good Overclocking options, also you don't need 700w for that build, you could probably do 650 or 500.

for the psu i dont really need a modular one for the case since it has amazing cable management so i went with this one, the 650 and 500 watt ones are ethier out of stock or more expensive so this one currently is more bang for the buck especially since evga is a highly trusted company for PSUs

EVGA is good but that one is recommended for lower end systems. I would go with a cooler master MWE gold 650

I doesn't matter that much, it'll save you some time when building, and it's just an added perk of the already pretty good PSU

I would pick a 650w 80plus gold PSU preferable from EVGA or Seasonic, Cooler Master and Corsair is usable to but please check the PSU tier list and make sure you ain't buying a fire hazard... OwO
