cable management without zipties, any tips?

zipties are so inconvinient and one off disposal , nightmare for hardware change...

 

what other better methods do you use?

 

I personally use the cable itself rigidity to hold itself in desired posistions, but its hard...

I bought a bulk reel of the nice (oval-y shaped, not the flat paper kind) twist tie material (like what cables come packaged with a lot of times) and cut off some when I need to tie a cable up. It's reusable, cheap (save the ones you get), and easy.

Twist ties. When I don't have any on hand and I'm desperate, I've used bent paperclips before -- but not for PC cable management.

 

Not too fond of zip-ties because they're one-use only, and you always need a pair of scissors/razor blade to snip them off. 🤔

There are reusable zip ties

also if you put in a zip tie backwards you can use it as often as you want ( hope you know what I mean)

twist ties. Don't try electrical tape. your cables will get sticky

I tried that product. The best for a clean office look, but if you are me and change peripherals often, it will be your hell. Looks really good thou.

There is a similar product that looks like a very long Velcro, all those, are cheap
