Motherboards used to have 2 chips to control the system, which is why "chipset" is the term.

Duron 1300 Morgan core with a manufacturing date of the 18th week of 02.
Nice - I believe I have a Duron 1400 around here somewhere, definitely alot of A's onhand and boards to go with them, including an old Soyo K7V KT-266 Dragon Plus! from back in the day.

Similar specs to a Trash 80 (TRS-80), also made by Radio Shack (Or at least sold with the Tandy name on them).
Loved messing around in BASIC back in the day.

back then setting stuff up to play games was a pain in the ass

set up sound card? IRQ conflict? fuuuuuuu

i always cheaped out on sound cards back in the day. looking back, midi vs. sound blaster pro was terrible. i should have spent more. good thing these days it doesn't really matter much.

Weeks to get a serial port to work, and when it finally works, you've frigged up IRQ's and the mouse no longer wants to know.
