What ram?

Hello, i'm buying ram hopefully today but i was wondering which kit would you guys get. I was looking at the corsair dominator platinum 32gb 3466mhz cl16 (2x16) or the dominator platinum 3600mhz cl18 (4x8) on a gigabyte aorus x570 master with a ryzen 3950x. I was looking at Corsair ram because it will sync with all my other corsair produucts with RGB and the dominator plantium series because they market it as better for overclocking and I will be benching with this system and there samsung B-die but if there's any significantly better ram kits you can let me know. Thanks in advanced.

I personally wouldn't get either, because you can find ram on the same level if not better for cheaper. If I could only choose between these two I'd get the cheaper kit, both are decent and you have pros with either. Quad channel with one and lower cas latency with the other. You could easily OC the 3466mhz CL16 kit to 3600 and get better than CL18.

Edit: Forgot AM4 doesn't support quad channel.

Get the dual channel CL16 kit. Yes, this is an overspend, maybe consider just going for the Corsair RGB Pro kit but otherwise a dual channel kit with lower latency is going to be best.

What's  the benefit of lpx? I thought dominator was good because it's b-die and 10 layer pcb

LPX is cheaper, but dominator is sexier. If you can find a ram that is CL16 and 3600Mhz, you would get the best performance out of it. If you are not on a budget, get the 32GB 3466mhz cl16 dominator and OC it to 3600Mhz, as @SpookyCitrus said.

Lpx is b die too,I don’t know much about this 10 layer pcb, but I doubt it makes any Meaningful difference.

3466 c16 LPX, its sexier than dominator in my opinion if you don’t like rgb.

I own 2x8 LPX kit, and I love the looks too, but however, op said that:

If I had the budget, I would have gone Dominator, they sure are one of the sexiest on the market rn, even if you turn off the damn RGB. :)
