I am thinking on cleaning all my freinds ps4

Is there any thing I should be worried about cleaning a ps4 and re pasting them

I have three friends that have ps4's ( yeah going to be a long process)

FYI I am going to follow Ifixit's guide

also going to be using noctula's thermal paste

I bought a PS4 recently to play P5 and P5 Royal, and I bought one that had overheating issues for peanuts. I sure as fuck wasn't going to pay full price for a PS4.

 

It's a very easy process if you have some experience taking apart laptops and other more compact machines. The only special-ish tool you need is a Torx driver (I think it's a T25, check the iFixIt guide). You'll probably need compressed air to do the job though, unless you have a anti-static vac. Be careful when cleaning the PSU, since if you're unlucky you might accidentally kill yourself. Oh, and a rag to wipe the dust off metal pieces.

 

It's probably not something I'd do for free though, the PS4 has quite a few parts. At least get them to buy you food or something.

FYI I am going to follow Ifixit's guide

Be sure not to damage the APU die like i did ...( don't over tighten the heatsink, and be extremely careful while dealing with the bare die )

Also handle the PSU with EXTREME care, be sure not to touch any capacitors, PCB or connectors.

Your talking to someone who is doing a pc build that will not get paid to do and takes more than two hours to power wash a patio

TBH i would do it once for fun and also gaining experience...

But if they ask u to do it repetitively without realizing the effort u put into it ,that would be the time to head out.

I 100% agree, it a really nice feeling especially at first....

At least u get experience that will really benefit you for your future career (assuming that you will go into something tech related)

or just for the sake of some extra knowledge.  

Also i like when my friends tend to ask for my advice in anything related to computers .

knowing my friends they will like if I do it  BTW I sent a screen shot of your sig to my friends group chat ( same friends that own ps4)

and one of them just called me asking where I got it.

This is the first time i modify my sig and profile since 2018 ( i assume u meant by sig the signature ? srry if i was wrong but i am brain dead sometimes)

Yeah computers are such a promising career to go into, as the demand for it will never stop: it's the future.
