Can we bios flash a rtx 2080 bios to a evga rtx 2060 ko

The evga rtx 2060 ko is the same die as rtx 2080 but with some cores locked so if we flash a rtx 2080 bios to the rtx 2060 then can unlock the cores and make it a rtx 2080

The 2070S is a TU104-410-A1, while the 2080 is TU104-400A-A1, not the exact same GPU variant.

It's not the same tu104

That's also a TU104 but again a different variant: TU104-150-KC-A1

I doubt it'd work personally. Nvidia is pretty thorough when it comes to locking down their GPUs, unlike AMD which has been fairly open about it (though it still voids your warranty and isn't guaranteed to work), since even the ATI days (like you could flash an HD 5850 to a 5870 back in the day).

If you're really interested in ray tracing, I'd highly suggest waiting until late Q3/early Q4 for Ampere. If we're to go by the rumours/leaks, the new cards will be ahead of the current 2000 series by a long shot in terms of real-time ray tracing performance.

Anything Below a 2080 super will barely handle ray tracing

Sadly that's the truth

I know that it is possible to biosflash a Vega 56 into a Vega 64 and a rx5700 into an 5700XT (and the other way around but why would you do that). but that is only possible because both card have the same Chip and memory not the case for 2080 and 2060 (2060 6gb and 2080 8gb). But even if you switched the bios of the right model there can still be issues ( for example blackscreen) also the old card‘s cooler (for example Vega 56) might be undersized for the new  ( Vega 64 ) what could lead to throttling.
