I currently have a 8600k in a budget matx board (MSI B360 PRO-VHD). I am upgrading after the release of ryzen 4000 and ampere. I am also planning to build a custom loop.

What would be the best case for the job?

Why do you need two systems? I would just sell the other one in parts or whole and save some money.

Or even just have two boxes.  Two systems in one case is this kind of weird thing that is useless in most situations.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Most new dual system cases are ATX and mITX (Corsair 100D, Evolv X, P600S) older cases like the Lian LI PC-D666 allowed ATX and mATX (the Thermaltake Core W200 allowed dual ATX cases) but those are discontinued
