Posted May 27, 2020 while i am playing red dead redemption two its showing in task manager that im only utilizing 1 to 0 percent of it and the cpu was utiziling on average around 50 percent. this was after i had disabled the intergrated graphics through device manager which had been before being utilized for around 30 percent. how could i make the gpu utilized to the max? ive gone through nvidia control panel and changed power options to pefer maximum performance but it didnt help. pls help me Asus Rog gl503ge Laptop - 1050ti 4GB, i5 8300H, 8 GB ram Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options... Posted May 27, 2020 Task Manager is known to be no good for monitoring GPU usage. Use something like MSI Afterburner. A little sanity check: If you're seeing expected FPS, is it realistic that the GPU is only utilized 1%? That would mean you should see 100x the performance at 100%. Try using MSI Afterburner to see usage while the game is in the foreground. Based on this, you should probably be between 30-40 fps on your hardware.
