Case fan clearance issue.

I’m using the Cooler Master HAF XB case and the cooler master V8 GTS cooler. I was wanting to put a 200mm case fan on the top window but I don’t think it would fit since the cooler is so tall. Is there any way around this other than just buying a new cooler?67014DE8-61D0-4A29-93E1-B5A29A5123AE.thumb.jpeg.1ae4a67aeb8f5e2a560c9c47c6527073.jpeg0276E2CF-9D14-41D0-AF91-A6F452172C3F.thumb.jpeg.0b771b03385f5746603fb362d00980ba.jpegA27B50B1-920B-482C-847B-837465F31EB3.jpeg.647a7fd4fa9ac7ec5742853b027f3674.jpeg

It's really not clear how much space you have available.

You can get a thinner 200mm fan?

you likely dont even need a fan there. Putting top fans in my nr400 did nothing noticeable. You could rest the fan on top of the case to test.

This is a completely different style top vent than a traditional tower layout.

@ThatOneHaven Your cooler is too tall. You'd either have to mount the fan on the outside and struggle to get the fan cable long enough to reach back into the case, get a shorter cooler (assuming a fan is 25mm thick, you'd need a cooler shorter than 155mm tall, or an AIO) or just keep the configuration you have.

I'd keep it the way you have it, as you'd need to get basically an AIO to mount a 200mm fan there that it's mostly not worth it.
