Tips on how to OC

 

1. Bumili nang desk fan (ung maliit)

2. Open side panel

3. Put fan Beside the PC

4. Laging ilagay sa #3

 

ghetto siya pero nakakatulong yan. Difference in Degrees might be big, lalo na pag High End air cooler mo like NH-D14 :lol:

 

may kilala akong ginawa yan. hindi siya nag overclock. talagang nagooverheat lang ang PC nya.  :lol:

My old processor was overheating to the point that it was idling at 70 degrees! :lol:

 

Turns out that I didn't understand the concept of thermal paste back then, and that it had completely dried out when I was cleaning out the CPU fan's heatsink. Worse, I didn't replace it at first.

 

After the random shut downs and annoying beeps, I replaced the thermal paste, and it returned to idling back at around 32.

Nope. Never over clocked. Surprisingly, even though I have a semi overclockable rig (i5-3550 and H77 Motherboard), I've never tried it.

 

Maiinit nga sa atin. I'm just using air cooling, and my CPU is idling at 36 degrees. At night. Back in December/January, it was idling at around 30-32. And wala din akong aircon sa bahay. Haha.

 I have a i5 2500K and Asus Z68-PRO board and I have always resulted to just using the "performance" profile on the board =(

 

Same temperature, kapag ma init umaabot ng 40 lol

amazing how thermal paste can change soo much

 

It was sort of a noob moment. I thought the overheating was because of the dust in the fins of the heatsink. I was like "kakalinis ko lang, maiinit pa rin?"

6 months plang ako sa PC hardware at marami na akong alam. Ni hindi nga related ang course ko sa PC eh. BSMT (Marine Transportation) ang kinuha ko pero interesado ako tlga sa PC hardware.

Hello mga kababayan!  Dati po akong taga-Pinas!  Sa Manila po ako ipinanganak, at tumira sa Imus, Cavite. Dito na po kami sa Canada ngayon mula po nung 1993!  12 yrs. old pa lang po kami nang mag-immigrate sa Canada pero marunong pa rin akong mag-Tagalog :)

Hey everyone, Im not Filipino but my gf is, I've visited in August 2012 and can't wait to go back there with her again. I only know a few words in Tagalog and Ilocanos but I'm slowly learning...
