Stuck between EVGA and ASUS

What's better ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 2060 Super Advanced Overclocked EVO 8G GDDR6 HDMI DisplayPort USB Type-C Gaming Graphics Card (ROG-STRIX-RTX2060S-A8G-EVO-GAMING)

or EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER KO GAMING, 08G-P4-2083-KR, 8GB GDDR6,  who should I go with

What's better..? The RTX 2080 is better by a mile, but it's at a completely different price point. Did you mean to compare two different RTX 2060s instead?

2080 stomps 2060S but afaik the only KO card is the 2060 which is slower than 2060S. Typo?

Both the brand and the card of the RTX 2080 is better. ASUS is shit compared to EVGA support and warrenty. Also the RTX 2080 is like a huge leap in performance

He probably sees that the fact that the ASUS 2060 has THREE fans:

 

While EVGA 2080 has only TWO fans:

 

So aside from the performance that the EVGA 2080 being greater than the ASUS 2060...

The only thing that makes these two even comparable is that due to the 2060's 3 fans would allow it to run cooler versus  EVGA 2080 with 2...

But again this is an apples to oranges comparison -not an even compare.

Put two cards regardless of manufacturer that are equal in terms of design and performance (2070's with 2 fans each for example) would be a fairer compare than this.

 

Also what makes ASUS customer support and warranty bad?

Is it just your personal experience with them or actual video evidence of fraudulent actions taken by employees toward their customers?

Unless the latter then it is just your opinion and does not actually produce valuable data to a logical and resolute buying decision.

That's the problem, you can't buy any of those yet. 2060 KO is all there is as far as stock goes.

Experience around forums basically, that Asus is not as good as it was. Not bad yet imo, but you cant compare with EVGA when they'll go like "sorry no parts for your 1070, here take a 2070"

Guess it really boils down to really just hands on experience -seems better source for me.

The Zotac GAMING GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER AMP

Has a boost clock of 1845 Mhz while the 2080 KO only has the 1815 Mhz boost.

And then again the AMP EXTREME version cranks that up to 1875 Mhz:

KO cards use as crap material as possible to lower price so it's not comparable to sth like the amp. You shouldnt compare boost clocks either when that's easily changed by user.
