EVGA PowerLink Airflow Thermals

I've recently purchased the EVGA PowerLink to put onto my new graphics cards when they're released later this year (EVGA RTX X080ti FTW3) - I was wondering if it would impede airflow and increase thermals; if anyone has any useful info on this subject, it would be greatly appreciated.
