Can anyone recommend a psu for under £40

I’m running rx 570

amd Ryzen 5 2600

16gb Ram and 120gb ssd

500gb hdd

i have a budget left for a psu

Any suggestions?

Go on Newegg and get the 450w Corsair or you can get the 550w instead for £40-50

Motherboard tier list. Tier A for overclocking 5950x. Tier B for overclocking 5900x, Tier C for overclocking 5800X. Tier D for overclocking 5600X. Tier F for 4/6 core Cpus at stock. Tier E avoid.

(Also case airflow matter or if you are using Downcraft air cooler)

( You can overclock Tier C just fine, but it can get very loud, that is why it is not recommended for overclocking, same with tier D)

OP is in the UK, not the US. Corsair has about half a billion different 450W PSUs, so your recommendation isn't really a recommendation at all. Kind of like saying "get the AMD 6 core".

You messed up while choosing parts, so you ended up with a too small budget for the PSU. Either increase your overall budget, or choose other parts. The Pure Power 11 400W is £50.

I was gonna get a CIT 500w 80+ br for 25£ but then I came on these forums and everyone said don’t cheap out on a psu so I’m gonna get a good one

Go for at least 450W maybe 550w if you some headroom for a lot of big upgrades and overclocking
