1650 SUPER with a 240 watt PSU?

So I currently have a 240 watt psu in a pre-built Dell Inspiron. I am currently running a GTX 1050 LP in it and have been for the past 2 years. I recently wanted an upgrade for better fps in games. I was wondering if a 1650 SUPER would be able to run with my low power 240 watt PSU.

Or should I just go with the 1650 LP version to be safe?

I think you should go for the 1650 LP as it uses less power and just in case you want to add a new SSD or CPU but u can also buy a new PSU for $50 on amazon 500watt and can you tell me what game you want to get higher FPS on

SSD uses almost 0. a RGB keyboard uses more.

not always many older dells use non standard PSUs

I have an SSD on it already and I feel like getting a new gpu is a hassle, especially because of the PC's weird form factor. I want to get more fps in rainbow six siege and overwatch.

a 1650 super or a 1660. a 1660 uses just a tad more but at 125W it is a big amount of your total PSU.

sure, 1650 is 75w gpu, since it dont have power connector

Main: Intel i7-10700KF, RTX 3080 Ventus 3X OC, 16 GB 3900MHz CL15 B-Die, Windows 11 Pro

Third PC: Intel i5-10400F, RTX 2080 Super Gaming X Trio, 16GB 3000MHz Timitec, Windows 10 Pro

Second PC: Ryzen 7 2700, RTX 2070 Super STRIX, 16GB 3200MHz CL15, Windows 10 Pro

First PC: Intel i5-3570, GTX 1060 Windforce, 16GB G-Skill 1600MHz, Windows 10 Pro

Hmmm Laptop: Pentium M 1.6GHz, iGPU, 2 GB 800MHz DDR2, Windows 7 SP1

the 1650 super does have a power connecter though.

Linus' recent video shows him using SATA to 6 pin to power it. But I'm not sure if I can because I have my HDD and SSD connected to the SATA already.

oops sorry, did not see a super there. Suggested psu is 350w. Get a 600w psu for future upgrades

I would like to, but it's too much of an hassle because of Dell's weird PSUs and such. So I just wanted to know if I am able to use a 1650s with a 240 watt.

sure, if your system without gpu takes less than 165w then, you are good to go
