What graphics card for a triple moniter setup?

Go to solution Solved by Dedayog,

You are planning on gaming across all 3, or just the main?  The 2070 Super is good for 1440p 144Hz singly, but won't push triples at all.

If you want a wide gaming experience, maybe look into Ultrawides or Super Ultrawides.

Gaming and triple monitors are separate things usually.  Clarify what you want to achieve.

Would my graphics card be able to run a triple moniter setup?

I'm building a brand new setup, and it will be my first desktop. I might say sommet stupid. I'm planning on getting 1440p 144z displays, and over time I wanna gain three. First I wanna know can the gpu (MSI Nvidia RXT 2070 Super Gaming X trio) hold that resolution at decent fps on most mainstream games, with high settings. And if I was to get a triple moniter setup for simulators, would I be able to keep the 1440p resolution at decent fps. Give me any extra info I should know about aswell please, or any recommendations for GPUs similar prices or slightly lower (as long as it will perform)

Builds main specs:

•Ryzen 7 2700X

• GPU is the one I said above

•16GB DDR4-3600

if you mean 1440 p 144hz gaming across ALL 3, thats a pipe dream. maybe achievable with two 3080 tis when they come out

if youre doing productivity on 2 and gamng one, no prob, but all 3, no chance.

I'm kinda deciding whether I'd want the whole ultra wide or having a second separate moniter. Cause then I can have other stuff open. What about an ultra wide and a smaller screen above? 😅

that would work, but make sure it has vesa mountings if you want to mount the monitor on the wall

Do you think I could push it to 1080p at 60/144hz

Would I still be able to go between my main and the one above. Like drag things up?

it’s the same as dragging from any other monitor. Doesn’t matter where it actually is.
