Steps to reproduce/what were you doing before it happened?

I opened a page with a embedded redit link

What happened?

The redit doesn't load right. it starts to show correctly then shrinks

What did you expect to happen?

redit embeds to load

I'm running almost 0 extensions.

Working fine for me, Windows 10 + Chrome.

 

Although curiously, it just stays like that in incognito mode and starts playing in non-incognito mode 🤔

Don't think this belongs on a thread of its own, but, is there a way to stop embedded videos from reddit from playing automatically?

I have autoplay set on "block audio and video", but that doesn't work for reddit embeds.

I have tried, because I agree that they definitely shouldn't autoplay, but no it doesn't seem to be possible.
