It does - check for the correct config. The 850 and 855 both have 8 and 16GB configs.

Yeah now for sure after what 5x5 said i wont go with apple only windows

See my post above HardStoN. 5x5's reply wasnt quite accurate 😛

EDIT: It's on page 1.

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

My reply was dead accurate. You're overlooking major issues because you like Apple. Nothing wrong with liking their products, but don't lie to others looking to spend their hard-earned money. Be reasonable, not a follower of a billion dollar corporation.

You might want to listen to a professional who fixes them. Such as Louis Rossmann. All the issues I described have come from his reports on thousands of dead macbooks and his findings.

It wasn't, and if you read what I said before replying you'd be able to directly address my points rather than call me an iSheep. I'm not lying to anybody, im speaking from my own experience in the repair business and the experience of others.

I've had this conversation before and I'm not willing to waste another evening on it. Apple has had many many many issues and fuck-ups and I've linked a few above. The information is proven and factual.

Overpriced for what you get - it's good but I can't defend the price when competing Android models offer nearly the same experience for half or 3/4 the price

But if you actually read my reply and addressed it, you'd know that you both misquoted said design flaws and inflated others with hyperbole. So your statements are not proven fact.

It's no secret iPhones are expensive, I daily an 11 Pro Max myself but I paid nowhere near full retail for it. If your friend could justify the price, he got a brilliant phone.

Yeah for sure the iPhone is a really good phone but for the price i don't think its worth getting one for full price

LOL he used it as a cutting board. And yeah but i am not gonna pour water on that you know lol so i am ready to sacrifice some protection for better design

Have you looked at modern X1 Carbon? Looks better than most of its competitors, and you can actually plug shit in without adapters and not worry a ton when it falls down a flight of stairs (well, maybe not the case for newer Thinkpads, but sure was the case for old ones).

That's an extreme example. A single drop of water can kill a MacBook. A liter of water doesn't do jack shit to a business-class laptop. This is what I'm telling you about - instead of carrying a glass cannon that you have to baby as if it were your firstborn child, get a more rugged machine which be used as a makeshift bullet shield

Not even a single drop of water, a humid room will kill it.

Meanwhile, like you said, you can pour gallons of water on a Thinkpad while still using it and it'll be fine. Hell, a jackass at my school threw my X260 on the ground and stomped it, and the only thing that got damaged was the screen.
