Basically, you use your computer's hardware to create virtual money. You can join pools (I guess for more profit), and right now the best coin to mine is LTC.

They are fairly satable, they were DDos attacked yesterday, but all pools seem good now, making a huge profit

i think flappy coin is the best right now, dogecoin is second, and lightcoin is currently in third.
