[SOLVED] iPhone 8 Home Button not clicking after cleaning screen with a bit of alcohol

Hello everyone,

Today I got my screen a bit dirty and decided to clean it with a little bit of 96% alcohol. After rubbing the alcohol with my bare hand in the screen the Home Button stopped clicking (but Touch ID kept working). I’ve checked online and no fix suggested worked. Can anyone help me?

 

EDIT: it worked after some time.

1. use a towel cleaning with your fingers and hand is counter-intuitive as you're making it filthy whilst cleaning it.

2. Probably some alcohol got in there. Turn it off and let it dry in a nice warm place.
