WD M.2 SSD isn't being detected!

Hello

I got a WD Bluw M.2 2280 SSD for my Asus Z97-A motherboard with a I7 4790k.

The ssd isn't being detected in the bios, even though i set the PCIe option in advanced setting to M.2, also in windows the ssd isn't being detected in disk management options. I've tried scanning for new devices and updated my bios to the latest release. Is my drive dead? Am i doing something wrong with the PCIe lanes? please help!

I had the exact same problem, tried the exact same setup. Turns out, not compatible. You need an M Key SSD as opposed to an M + B  Key, like the SN550.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad
