Have you downloaded the driver from Logitechs website? 

Also, what's the problem with it? Are there functions you can't use?

Try downloading Logitech Gaming Software.

My mouse says the same. But the functions are in the software.

What do you mean by jumping? Skipping lines like when you are in game and you want the second item but it jumps to the third or fourth, that would be a feature not a bug, as they say it. Usually this can be disabled and is meant for office use only.
